Is the PDF you receive with the print copy still a single-pc type PDF or can it be used on your company network?

Mark Reeder

Will I be able to get the code in pdf format that I can use on my iPad as well as my computer.
My I pad will accept a pdf file but will not accept the program you use to protect it.
I purchased the code. Are you reccomending to carry a book and use the book when I am not at the office?
Modern technology allows me to carry a library in my iPad.
Carrying a book seems cumbersome and not an improvement.

@Jeremy: We offer a license for network use that does incorporate the IP-based pricing. This article is about single user pricing. For more info, send me a message.

@ Mark: We are moving quickly to make a solution available for mobile devices. Stay tuned for an announcement on that in the very near future.

This is nice, but in RI we need to put the actual code into our plan reviews and inspection reports. Therefore, we need the cut and paste capabilities which .pdfs do not allow.

Will we ever see that capability?

Thank you,

Sue

Sam Driver

@Sue: We are working on a solution to that problem from a couple of directions. You'll soon have that capability from PDFs, and we'll working on a new tool that will embed code citations in a standard format, so keep an eye out for those changes.

I can't seem to access my pdf's more than once due to computer upgrades or program updates. I have downloaded the pdf codes more than once and still can't open them. Wish I had printed them when I first opened them or just bought the hardcopy.

@Lisa: We're working to resolve this problem. Stay tuned for an updated digital experience that will simplify your PDF usage.

I have bought some PDF codes that were downloaded in my old computer that is damaged at the present time.
I have bought a new one and I want to have those PDF files installed and readable on it.
What do I have to do to make that change?
Could you send the answer by email?

Customers are increasingly letting us know that they want to access codes in digital format.I like the idea it is very helpful.
